How to Make a Customer Happy


This is the receipt from a Japanese restaurant. Can you see the "Thank You" on the receipt? It's hand-written by the waitress who served us. I was surprised by this thoughtful act! So when the waitress came back to take the cash, I told her it was a very thoughtful and personal touch. The waitress smiled and appreciated my comment.

You may think the waitress did this just to please the customers and hopefully the customers would give more tips. Have you thought about there are also a lot of waiters/waitresses out there who didn't give good service but still expect the customers to give them good tips?

A good service is how you make the customer feels. I think the waitress got it.
