My best pal in traffic- NPR

It took me 2.5 hours to drive home today. It was snowing during the rush hour and everyone was driving 10 miles per hour on the freeway.

Thankfully, I had NPR and I don't feel my time was completely wasted.

One thing I learned today- there is a plastic surgeon in Afghanistan and most of the clients are women who were about to get married but haven't met their husband.

I thought using 2.5 hours to go home was bad enough. R just told me someone she knew took 5 hours to go home last week at this kind of weather. Well, all things are relative, right? Knowing the fact that other people may take even longer time to go home, I did feel a bit better. Is this a kind of Schadenfreude?
