Buying a Sandwich through the Bullet Proof Glass

It's late at night. There were not too many restaurants pened after 9 in this part of town. This was my first time seeing bullet proof glass in a sandwich place. When I first ordered my meatball sandwich, the staff couldn't hear what I said because I wasn't speaking towards the tiny circular window and the glass was too thick. Getting the sandwich out was tricky, the staff gave me my sandwich through a sliding metal drawer.

After living in one of the nicest suburbs for awhile, it made me feel like everywhere else is a dangerous place.
