A Nostalgic City--Detroit

I found two websites which showed tons of pictures about Detroit.
My first impression of downtown Detroit is---nostalgic and historical.
Looking at the ruined buildings,
I could imagine how grand Detroit looked like during the prime of the industrial era.
Somehow, looking at the ruins, it made me feel like visiting a lost civilization.
