You can't make everyone happy

These were some of the feedbacks I received from my "multi-source feedback" (aka peer evaluation).

"Y is very good at networking and drawing information out of people. This is a very useful skill that will help her throughout her career."

"Y could be more conscious of other people's time. Asking questions is an important part of learning, but some topics are better reserved for a lunch discussion than during work time."

To some people, building relationship with co-workers through small talk could be a great skill.
To some people, it could be a waste of time as fostering a good relationship with co-workers are not billiable time at work.

You can't make everyone happy, can you?
