I don't like Chinese (food)?

Time: After a buffet lunch in a Chinese Restaurant

Co-worker A: I don't like Chinese.
Co-worker B, C and I were looking at each other and trying to figure out what Co-worker A meant.
Co-worker A: Oh no, I wasn't aware of two of you are Chinese. I mean I don't like Chinese food.
Me: What a confession! Now I know what diversity is all about. :)
