Your degree is just the ticket to your dream job

As the time of starting work is approaching, my friend offered me another piece of analogy that her boss shared with her on her first day of work.

“Your degree is only the ticket to get on to our train (the company). It’s the cost of admission. No more, no less. From now on, we don’t care whether you are from the best business programs or you graduated with summa cum laude. We want to see if you are the person who get things done and continuously contribute to our team to move forward.”
