Hard Work

It was a hard core workout at my Gung Fu class yesterday- so much that the muscles of my upper body and abs are sore. During a break, I was jokingly telling my Sifu that I was technically "paying" for all these pain and I wish I could just sleep and eat at home without doing these "hard works" (By the way, Gung Fu also means hard work in Chinese).

Sifu said, "Sleeping and eating are easy, but only doing easy things will only get you that far in life. The mastery of anything, in this case, your mind and body, comes from discipline and hard work."
